Designed for both potential providers and consumers of health care resources, this course explores communication processes that influence and are influenced by health and health care contexts. Discussion will include ethical and effective communication on the interpersonal, group, organizational, and societal levels. Sample topics: perceptions of health; patient-provider communication; health education campaigns; health-care teams. This course can be used to satisfy University Studies requirements.
