Double Major: Accounting and Business Administration

Students in the School of Business may wish to pursue a double major in Accounting and Business Administration. By choosing the double major, students earn a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

The Bachelor of Science in Accounting (BSA) is designed for students seeking professional careers in accounting. Students who earn this degree will have all necessary credentials to immediately pursue accounting careers in private industry.

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) prepares students for many careers in the modern business environment. The program features broad coverage of the functional business areas with a significant communication component. The program enhances career opportunities with today's employers who value well-rounded employees. The curriculum provides students the opportunity to enhance skill sets in verbal and written communication, leadership and teamwork.

The traditional weekday accounting and business programs provide a traditional, small university environment in an urban setting, with many opportunities for interaction, involvement and leadership. Courses are scheduled in a manner designed to provide maximum flexibility.

The accounting and business programs are also offered in a weekend and evening program through the Adult Accelerated Program (AAP). AAP offers valuable peer group interaction, support, and networking opportunities for working adults.
